Kruger Park Day Tours (Full Day, Morning or Afternoon)
Experience a unique view of South Africa's largest and most famous game reserve, the Kruger National Park, in specially designed open safari vehicles or in the comfort of an air-conditioned vehicle, accompanied by one registered guide, who is an experienced Field Guide. We will provide you with an exciting tour of the Kruger National Park, which is unrivalled in its variety of wildlife - 147 species of mammals and more than 500 species of bird recorded. The guides will enthrall you with their passion and knowledge of the bush and its inhabitants. Sit back and relax as your guide shares his knowledge of this region with its abundant animal and birdlife, while in search of the elusive Big Five.
Kruger Park Morning Walking Safari
In the early morning a National Parks Ranger is ready to introduce you to a number of skills such as tracking, the use of plants and trees in medicine, as well as bird and animal identification. Walks are conducted in an area that is renowned for its rhino population, which makes a "Big 5" sighting a realistic possibility. A short game drive to and from the walking area adds to the thrill of the day.
Kruger Park Sunset Safari
Experience the thrill of the African bush as day changes to night in the Kruger National Park. In the company of an expert National Parks Ranger, your safari begins whilst you savour the beautiful African sunset. At nightfall, the spotlight will be turned on for a search of Africa's "Big 5" from the comfort of an open safari vehicle; you are likely to see some of Africa's more unusual nocturnal animals.
Panorama Tour
A full day or half day tour, winding your way through pine and eucalyptus forests whilst discovering some of Mpumalanga's most awe-inspiring scenery and breathtaking views. Your tour will take you to the Blyde River Canyon, the third largest canyon in the world, to view stunning rock formations. Afterwards you will visit spectacular sites such as God's Window, Wonderview, Three Rondavels, Bourke's Luck Potholes and some of the most beautiful and refreshing waterfalls of the region.
Balloons over Africa
Enjoy a flight in a Hot Air Balloon and spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. The launch site is situated just where the foothills of the mountains begin, and the balloon floats over small hills and hidden valleys. The vegetation is a mix of riverine forest, indigenous bush and fruit orchards, and the sub-tropical climate ensures that the area is green and lush almost all year round. This is a beautiful ballooning venue!
Shangana Cultural Village
The residents of the traditional villages of Shangana invite guests to share in the way of life of the Shangaan people. A bustling African market village forms the centre of Shangana, where local craftspeople make and trade their craft. From here, trained guides lead guests down to villages on daytime tours, midday tours with lunch, and the famed Evening Festival in the Chief's Kraal.
Skywaytrails
The longest aerial cable trail in Africa (1.2 km) allows guests to glide down to the Sabie valley basin, stopping along the way on a number of elevated platforms to admire the natural vegetation, birdlife and views of the forest floor below.
