We ♥ Hazyview because …

Hazyview has got it`s name from the heavy haze that dominates the Eastern Lowveld in summertime. It is the gateway to the magnificent Panorama Route, as a centre for adventure activities and of course for it’s close proximity to the Kruger National Park.

When the weather is good, we like to take in the beauty of the Panorama Route and marvel at the clear crisp views, walk in the mountains and remind myself how lucky I am to live here.
When the weather is bad, we like to visit the Kruger National Park, where the animals are more active, we often see nocturnal animals on dull days and the rainy weather brings out the tortoises. But we love the Kruger in hot weather too!
We think the best time to visit Hazyview is all year round, because our winter days are warm and sunny with chilly nights.
Our summers are hot and sometimes rainy with spectacular thunderstorms but we adore the balmy evenings under the stars.

Our favourite breakfast spot is of course the veranda of our own guest house with our beautiful garden view.
Our favourite restaurant is Pioneers Butcher & Grill - try the best fillet steak in South Africa.
For some African Culture we like to go to the Shangaan Evening Festival for an evening of African Theatre and feast.
To relax and restore the soul, we like to relax at our own pool.
If you are feeling adventurous, try one of the dozens of activities available in the area, from Abseiling to Quad Biking.

Our favourite bird watching spot our own garden and on the Sabie River Bungalows Golf course.
We ♥ Hazyview because it is the friendliest place we’ve ever lived. Hazyview is a laid back little town with the huge added bonus of Kruger Park on the doorstep.
